My Kids Hate Me this Week!

Here we go again... BACK TO SCHOOL PREP WEEK!!! If I seem excited, it's because I am! We have had a long summer, I kept the kids as busy and as entertained as I could this year. Although, the texts to their friends will say otherwise. It really doesn't matter now though, because this is the week they will undoubtedly hate me. Every single year, this is the week they will hate me.

Taking a Coffee Break

I'm starting to realize that there's a big difference between having some coffee and taking a coffee break. Every morning I stumble to the Keurig, pop in a cup of my choice, tell my kids to just give me a minute to wake up. I get the day started, make more coffee and power through. By the end of the day I know I've had my fair share of caffeine but I never actually remember taking a break, getting that moment to take it all in. It's so important to take an actual coffee break. Tea, diet coke, water- whatever you enjoy, break. I'm learning to make time for that again, and it's harder than I thought.

Getting Crafty: A DIY Picture Frame.

I would to think I am a pretty crafty person, in a good way! I love to be creative. Homemade gifts are one of my favorite things to do. It allows me to put some extra thought into what I'm giving. Picture frames are one of the best ways to get personal and customize a gift for a special occasion. My latest project was so fun, and special. My best friend for almost 30 years just had her second baby, a sweet little boy. A few of her close friends and sister had a nice lunch right before he arrived to celebrate. I knew I wanted to get cute clothes for him and something a bit more personal for her. This frame was perfect, and it only took a few minutes to create. Let me show you how I managed to get this done with my kids running around...

I am finally getting around to reviewing my Stylebox by Jamberry Nails subscription! Back in April I decided to see what it was all about. It all made sense, I absolutely love my Jamberry products and who doesn't love getting fun packages in the mail!?
